Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has stated that although Pakistan's economy has been under serious pressure in the past few years, it is now slowly moving towards stability.
In a ceremony in Lahore, he showed confidence in the country's economic future and emphasized national unity to construct a better Pakistan.
Tarar highlighted that as the economy stabilizes, new job opportunities are being created, which he termed a positive development for the country. “When the economy strengthens, it brings hope and growth—and we can achieve much more if we stand together,” he added.
Praising the efforts of SOS Children’s Villages Pakistan, the Law Minister said the organization has expanded its reach across the country, providing shelter, education, and care to thousands of orphaned and abandoned children. He shared that the Prime Minister has allocated Rs 100 million in support of SOS’s mission, underlining the government’s commitment to helping such institutions thrive.
He further noted the achievements of SOS children, who are excelling in various fields of education and are now serving the nation in different sectors. “It gives me great joy to see these children not only growing up in a loving environment but also contributing positively to society,” he said while congratulating SOS on its golden jubilee celebration.
Tarar concluded by reaffirming the government’s support for initiatives that empower underprivileged children and help build a stronger, more inclusive Pakistan.
