66-year-old woman gives birth to 10th child

In an extraordinary medical feat, a 66-year-old German woman, Alexandra Hildebrand, has given birth to her 10th child naturally, without the use of in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

The remarkable birth took place on March 19 at Charité Hospital in Berlin, where she delivered a healthy baby boy named Philipp via C-section. The newborn weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces at birth.

Hildebrand, who owns and manages the Wall Museum at Checkpoint Charlie, had her first child in the late 1970s. However, it was only after turning 50 that she had eight more children, all through C-section deliveries. Her latest pregnancy and delivery have stunned many, considering the natural conception at an age where childbirth is rare.

Speaking to the media, Hildebrand described motherhood as a beautiful and fulfilling experience. She emphasized the importance of raising a large family, saying, "Having a big family is not just a wonderful thing, but above all, it is essential for the proper upbringing of children." Her story has sparked discussions on late-age pregnancies, with many applauding her for embracing motherhood with such passion and determination.
