Pakistan’s leading TikTok star and actress Jannat Mirza has finally opened up about why she chooses to stay away from acting in television dramas.

The social media sensation from Faisalabad, who made her silver screen debut with Syed Noor’s film "Tere Bajre Di Rakhi", has remained absent from the drama industry despite receiving multiple offers.

According to media reports, Jannat Mirza was offered roles in the popular dramas "Parizaad" and "Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay", but she turned them down.

Recently, during an appearance on a private TV show alongside her family, she revealed the reasons behind her decision.

Jannat shared that most drama shoots take place in Karachi, and she has a fear of flying, which makes frequent travel difficult for her. She added that committing to a drama requires a long-term engagement, and she does not feel prepared for such a responsibility.

When asked whether she would consider moving to Karachi, Jannat explained that her family prefers to live in Faisalabad, and her parents are not willing to relocate.
