Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Friday organised a special luncheon in honour of more than 1500 workers following the completion of Gaddafi Stadium renovation in record time.

Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi thanked the workers for their hard work and congratulated them on the renovation's completion in record time. “You are the heroes of the nation, and everyone deserves congratulations,” he said.

The workers also took selfies and pictures with the PCB chairman and appreciated his hard work.

Mohsin Naqvi also invited the workers to watch tomorrow’s first match of the tri-nation series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The workers said that they have been at Gaddafi Stadium for three months and are happy to see the beauty of it.

The workers enjoyed mutton qorma, chicken roast, beef pulao, and live hot naan for lunch. In addition, they provided Zarda, Raita, fresh salad, mineral water, cold drinks, and Kashmiri tea.

Advisor Aamir Mir, Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer PSL Salman Naseer, Pakistan team captain Muhammad Rizwan, and top PCB officials were also present on the occasion.

Speaking to the workers, PCB chairman Naqvi said that Gaddafi Stadium is your stadium, and completing it in record time involves your hard work day and night.

The lunch left a lasting impression on the workers, who received wonderful words in return for their hard work.
