Muzaffargarh police on Wednesday lodged its first case under the Anti-Rape Act against a lady.

The woman who filed a false rape case at the City Police Station now faces charges, according to the police.

According to the police, the case was registered at the Civil Lines Police Station following a court order.

Police said that the case was registered against the woman accused on court orders at the Civil Lines Police Station, and the woman recorded her statement against the accused before the medical officer and the area magistrate.

According to the police, the woman later deviated from her statement in the court and stated that she had named the accused in the case based on suspicion.

The police have registered a case against the woman under the Anti-Rape Act for filing a false case.
