The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest ODI and T20 player rankings, bringing both positive and negative news for cricket enthusiasts worldwide.

In the ODI rankings, India's Shubman Gill has retained his position at the top, while Pakistan's Babar Azam holds the second position. Among the other Pakistani cricketers, Fakhar Zaman is at the 20th position, while Mohammad Rizwan is at the 21st position.

In the bowling department, Shaheen Afridi has fallen two places to reach the 11th position, which is a minor loss for the ace pacer.

In the T20 rankings, Australia's Travis Head remains the dominant top-ranked batter, while New Zealand's Tim Seifert has improved markedly, moving up five places to take 8th position. Babar Azam is ranked 9th for Pakistan, and Mohammad Rizwan occupies 12th position in the current T20 batting rankings.

One of the greatest highlights of the new rankings is New Zealand's Jacob Duffy, who has rocketed to the top as the No. 1 T20 bowler in the world.

His stunning performance during the T20 series against Pakistan, picking up 13 wickets, has been instrumental in his ascension to the top. In a disappointing twist for Pakistan, no Pakistani bowler has entered the top 20 of the T20 rankings.
