Aik News:Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met the participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan at General Headquarters (GHQ). He said that continued efforts by security forces, law enforcement agencies, and the support of the people would help bring lasting peace to Balochistan.

Addressing the participants, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that targeted operations against Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan would continue with full determination until terrorism and its supporters are eliminated from Pakistan.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to dismantle terrorist infrastructure wherever it threatens the country and its people.

The COAS and CDF said that foreign-sponsored proxies have repeatedly tried to promote violence, harm stability, and disturb peace in Balochistan. He said their plans would be defeated through a strong and decisive response by the Armed Forces, with the support, unity, and resilience of the people of Pakistan.

During the interaction, Field Marshal Asim Munir described Balochistan as the pride of Pakistan, saying the province has great natural resources and is blessed with vibrant, resilient, and patriotic people who are its biggest strength.

He highlighted that ongoing development projects by the federal and provincial governments are aimed at improving Balochistan’s socio-economic conditions through an inclusive and people-focused approach.

The COAS and CDF appreciated the positive role of civil society, academia, media, and youth in promoting national unity and contributing to the long-term peace and prosperity of Balochistan.

He also stressed the importance of national unity and determination in shaping the future direction of the country.

The session concluded with an open and detailed interaction. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to the stability, progress, and sovereignty of Pakistan.
