Operation Ghazbad-ul-Haq: Afghan Taliban also faces humiliation on social media, false propaganda exposed

28 February 2026

Operation Ghazab lil-Haq is ongoing. After facing setbacks on the battlefield, the Afghan Taliban are now encountering embarrassment on social media as their false propaganda is being exposed.

In response to what Pakistan describes as unprovoked aggression, the Pakistan Army delivered an effective counteraction, after which the Afghan Taliban regime allegedly resorted to spreading false propaganda.

The British broadcaster BBC brought this false claim by the Afghan Taliban to international attention.

According to the BBC, several social media posts are circulating images of the wreckage of a Pakistani training aircraft and falsely presenting them as related to the current conflict.

In reality, the images of the aircraft being shared on social media are not connected to the recent tensions.

The photos date back to 2025 and show the wreckage of a training aircraft unrelated to the current Pakistan-Afghanistan situation.

According to BBC experts, after reportedly suffering significant losses in personnel and equipment, the Afghan Taliban are attempting to conceal their setback through misleading propaganda on social media.
