Aik News:The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) organized a grand Overseas Kashmiris Convention, attended by Kashmiris from around the world to discuss development, investment, and policy reforms.
The Overseas Kashmiris Convention was held in Muzaffarabad under the supervision of the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Overseas Kashmiris from different countries participated in the event.
The convention includes panel group discussions and policy dialogues focusing on the development of the region. The Government of AJK made special arrangements to host the participants. Kashmiris who have achieved success in various fields across the world are also attending the convention.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, federal ministers, and state ministers are participating in the event.
Key topics of the convention include state development and available investment opportunities. The government is informing investors about special facilities and incentives.
Important initiatives linked to the convention include:
•    Establishment of a separate special court for overseas Kashmiris.
•    Launch of a Prime Minister’s web portal to address overseas Kashmiris’ complaints and issues.
•    Introduction of a one-window operation system to facilitate investment processes.
The convention also features art and cultural shows as part of the program.
Investment proposals are being presented in the IT, hydel power, tourism, and minerals sectors. After the panel discussions, a comprehensive policy will be prepared based on the recommendations.
