Aik News:Security forces say at least 67 militants were killed in an ongoing operation in Balochistan on Thursday, taking the total death toll from recent actions in the province to 108.

According to security sources, the operation against what officials describe as “Fitna al-Hindustan” has been underway since morning, with 67 militants confirmed killed so far. Earlier, 41 militants were reported killed over the past two days in Panjgur and Shaban areas, bringing the cumulative total to 108.

Security sources also confirmed that 10 police and security personnel were martyred while fighting the militants. Operations are continuing, and further losses to militant groups are expected, the sources added.

Separately, a deadly attack on Baloch laborer families in Gwadar was reported. Security officials said 11 civilians—five men, three women, and three children—were killed in what they described as a brutal assault by militants. The victims were poor laborers from Balochistan who had come to Gwadar in search of work. Earlier reports had put the civilian death toll at five.

Security sources claim all militants involved in the Gwadar attack have since been killed. The incident has sparked widespread grief and anger among local residents. Additional search and clearance operations are underway in surrounding areas to dismantle any remaining militant hideouts.

Officials said the attack on civilian laborers underscores militant efforts to disrupt peace and development in Balochistan, adding that security operations will continue until the area is fully secured.
