Bushra Ansari speaks out against fake accounts impersonating her and scamming people for money

Veteran actor Bushra Ansari has raised a serious concern over fake social media accounts using her photos to scam people for money.

In a candid Instagram video, she expressed frustration at the growing number of fraudulent pages posing as her, soliciting donations in her name under the guise of charity or NGOs.

Ansari warned her followers about these “cheap pages” and urged them not to trust accounts claiming to collect funds for the poor or widows.

She highlighted that scammers even use recent personal photos, including images where she wears a bindi, to make their pages appear authentic.

Despite her repeated efforts to report and block these accounts, the problem persists.

Clarifying her own practices, Ansari emphasized that any charitable work she undertakes is done privately, and she has never asked the public to contribute money directly.

She reminded fans to follow only her verified accounts: ansari.bushra on Instagram and Bushra Bashir on Facebook.

Her warning serves as a timely reminder for social media users to stay vigilant, verify identities, and protect themselves from online scams, especially when public figures are impersonated.
