AJK Government prioritises public welfare through action-oriented governance: PM Faisal Mumtaz Rathore

Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, has said that the AJK government’s recent initiatives reflect a responsible, transparent, and people-centric model of governance, where public welfare remains the core focus of policy-making.

Addressing a press talk, the prime minister stated that the government’s approach goes beyond announcements and slogans, emphasising effective implementation, timely relief for affected families, and improved access to basic services.

He highlighted that sectors directly linked to daily life — including health, education, employment, electricity, water supply, transport, and civic facilities have witnessed consistent and tangible progress.

The prime minister noted that affected families have been provided immediate financial assistance and government jobs under agreed frameworks, while steps have been taken to reduce the burden of inflation and taxation.

He added that administrative reforms, transparency measures, and investments in infrastructure have strengthened public trust in the government.

Faisal Mumtaz Rathore said these actions demonstrate that the AJK government has aligned its policies with public welfare and social stability, rather than temporary pressure or reactive decision-making.
