Pakistan gold prices hit new highs: Dec 1, 2025

Gold prices witnessed a notable surge on Monday in both global and Pakistani markets, continuing the momentum from the previous session.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold jumped by Rs2,700 per tola, reaching Rs446,862, as global rates climbed amid steady investor interest.

The price of 10 grams of gold also rose significantly, increasing by Rs2,315 to Rs383,112. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold saw a rise of Rs2,122 per 10 grams, hitting Rs351,198. These shifts reflect sustained demand for precious metals both locally and internationally.

On the international front, gold prices rose by $27 per ounce, settling at $4,245. Analysts say the increase highlights the ongoing appeal of gold as a safe-haven investment, especially during periods of economic uncertainty and currency fluctuations.

Silver also followed a similar upward trend. The price per tola of 24-karat silver increased by Rs54 to Rs5,963, while 10 grams of 24k silver were sold at Rs5,112, up by Rs46.
