After facing widespread criticism for his recent comments about content creators, acclaimed actor Zahid Ahmed has come forward with a heartfelt public apology, acknowledging his mistake and taking full responsibility for his words.
In a video message shared on social media, the Ishq Zahe Naseeb star expressed deep regret over his earlier statement, where he had said that “content creators will go to hell.”
Clarifying his intent, Zahid explained that his remarks were aimed at the negative aspects of social media and not at the hardworking individuals who use these platforms creatively and positively.
“I feel truly guilty for declaring anyone a wrongdoer,” Zahid admitted. “I crossed my limits in emotion and spoke beyond my right. Only the Almighty has the authority to judge who is sinful.”
His comments, originally made during a podcast appearance alongside Ahmed Ali Akbar, had stirred strong reactions from the creative community, with influencers such as Adnan Zafar (Ken Doll) calling out the actor for showing “double standards.”
In his apology, Zahid emphasized the importance of self-reflection and humility, especially for public figures whose words can influence others.
“It was necessary for me to accept my mistake,” he said. “Many young people listen to me when I speak about religion, and my words carried a very wrong message. I’ll make sure this never happens again.”
His sincere apology has been met with appreciation from many fans, who have praised him for taking accountability and choosing compassion over pride a reminder that acknowledging our mistakes is the first step toward growth and unity.
