A shocking incident unfolded in Lahore’s Gulberg Town where a polio vaccination team was reportedly attacked inside a private school.

According to initial reports, the female health workers were not only assaulted but also locked inside classrooms after being beaten.

Eyewitness accounts and an audio message circulating on social media revealed the horrifying details. The female polio workers claimed that they were slapped, their abayas were torn, and they were confined to rooms by school staff.

In the distressing audio, one of the women can be heard pleading for help, saying, “We have been locked in a room; someone please come and rescue us. The sister of a man named Waqar slapped us herself.”
