Security Forces have killed six Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists during a precision operation in the Dalbandin area of Chagai district, Balochistan, security sources confirmed on Wednesday.

According to officials, the armed forces launched a swift and targeted operation after identifying the terrorist formation through aerial surveillance. The group was tracked hiding deep within the mountains of Dalbandin. The operation completely dismantled the network, neutralizing the threat to both security personnel and local civilians.

Meanwhile, in a separate intelligence-based operation in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani forces destroyed several hideouts and tunnels belonging to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as Fitna al-Khawarij. During the operation in the Shahi Tangi forest, one terrorist was killed in an intense exchange of fire, while several others fled the scene with injuries.

Security forces also recovered a cache of weapons, explosives, and communication devices from the hideout, preventing potential future attacks.

Earlier this month, Taliban forces and their allied groups attacked multiple Pakistan Army posts on October 12. In retaliation, Pakistan carried out powerful strikes, killing over 200 militants, though 23 Pakistani soldiers also embraced martyrdom in the clashes.

Following the escalation, Pakistan conducted “precision strikes” in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province and Kabul, destroying several terrorist strongholds. Both nations have since agreed to a temporary ceasefire, with high-level delegations from Islamabad and Kabul set to meet in Istanbul, Turkiye, on October 25 to discuss regional security and counter-terror cooperation.
