According to the notification issued on Sunday, the revised tariff will be reflected in electricity bills for September. This means that consumers, including those served by K-Electric, will experience a noticeable dip in their upcoming bills after months of rising energy costs.
The decision, based on July’s fuel cost adjustment, offers temporary relief for one month. However, it is being widely welcomed as a breather at a time when households are struggling with inflation and high utility expenses.
