Pakistan is observing Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) today, the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal 1447 AH, with profound reverence and love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The sacred day reminds believers of their duty to embody the message of mercy, justice, compassion, and peace that the Prophet (PBUH) brought to all of humanity.

The day began with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals, followed by heartfelt prayers for the safety, unity, and prosperity of Pakistan.

Across the country, Mahafil-e-Milad, conferences, and processions are being held, while streets and homes glow with lights symbolising hope and devotion.

Communities are also sharing food and sweets with orphans, the needy, and neighbours, reflecting the Prophet’s (PBUH) eternal message of kindness and generosity.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, called upon the nation to rebuild Pakistan in the light of the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings, urging unity, justice, and compassion.

He reminded that the Prophet’s (PBUH) blessed birth nearly 1500 years ago illuminated the world, transforming darkness into light and setting principles of equality, mercy, and brotherhood that remain universal.

President Asif Ali Zardari extended greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah, emphasising that the Prophet’s (PBUH) life is the ultimate model of justice, fairness, and respect for humanity.

He urged people to embrace these values in addressing modern challenges such as extremism, injustice, and social unrest.

On this day, leaders and citizens alike reaffirm that the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) is not only a spiritual guide but also a roadmap for governance, social harmony, and humanitarian values.

As Pakistan joins the global Muslim community in marking this 1500th birth anniversary of Rahmatul-lil-Alameen (Mercy to All Creations), the nation renews its pledge to build a society rooted in peace, equality, and compassion.

May this blessed occasion inspire us to serve humanity, strengthen unity, and follow the path of love and mercy taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Ameen. Pakistan Zindabad.
