The British Council, on behalf of the Scottish Government, has announced the launch of the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2025.
This fully funded scholarship program is designed to support Pakistani women pursuing higher education at the bachelor’s or master’s/MPhil level at any HEC-recognized university across Pakistan.
The scholarship covers
- Full tuition fees
- Hostel costs (if needed)
- Two annual return trips between the student’s home and university for those residing in hostels.
The eligible fields of study include Education, Sustainable Energy, Food Security and Agriculture, Health Sciences, Climate, and STEM subjects (STEM is applicable only for master’s level applicants).
The program specifically encourages applications from women with disabilities, those from rural areas, and minority communities, aiming to make higher education more accessible and equitable for underserved groups.
Application Deadline has been extended till 15 September 2025.
