Once a shining star of Pakistan’s music scene, Ainee Khalid has resurfaced after years of silence—and with a story that has left the nation heartbroken.
In a deeply emotional Instagram post, the singer opened up about the tragic health crisis her seven-year-old daughter, Ayesha, faced earlier this year.
“It was January 23, 2024,” Ainee began. “A date that will forever be etched into my soul.” What followed was every parent’s worst nightmare.
Ainee revealed that her previously healthy daughter suffered two sudden heart attacks within just eight hours, completely shaking their world. “My Ayesha, who was full of life, laughter, and energy, suddenly collapsed due to irregular heartbeat and lack of oxygen,” she wrote.

Due to severe oxygen deprivation, Ayesha’s organs started shutting down one by one. Doctors had to put her on life support, insert breathing tubes, connect her to a heart-lung bypass machine, and begin dialysis to support her failing kidneys. Ainee described the painful moment of seeing her once joyful daughter lying unconscious, wrapped in wires and machines, completely still.
“She was born healthy,” Ainee stressed, “never had a single health issue before this. But now, she was facing organ failure, brain damage, and paralysis.”

After days of uncertainty and sleepless nights, the doctors delivered another blow—Ayesha was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, a rare and painful condition that has left her unable to walk due to neurological damage. Yet, amid the pain, Ainee clung to faith.
“When doctors gave up, Allah gave us hope,” she wrote. “He is Rehman, Rahim—and Ayesha is nothing short of a miracle.” According to Ainee, Ayesha’s survival itself defied medical logic. “Where logic ends, His mercy begins.”
The singer says her daughter is now recovering, smiling, and growing stronger every day. “She is far braver than I ever imagined a child could be,” Ainee shared. “And I believe with all my heart—one day she will walk again.”
Ainee ended her post with a humble request to her followers: “Please keep my Ayesha in your prayers.”
