Popular actress Alizeh Shah has finally broken her silence on why she has been missing from television screens—and her revelation is both eye-opening and deeply concerning.
In a candid interview, the rising star of Pakistani showbiz revealed that unprofessional behaviour in the entertainment industry has pushed her to step away from drama projects.
Known for her debut in the film Superstar and admired for her striking looks and acting talent, Alizeh Shah opened up about the challenges women face in the industry. She cited issues such as inappropriate conduct, delayed payments, and lack of professionalism as major reasons for her absence from the small screen.
“I don’t want to be part of any project where I’m not treated with dignity and respect,” she stated firmly. Alizeh added that she’s no longer willing to tolerate unprofessional behavior in entertainment industry, especially when it comes to payment delays. “There have been times I had to wait three to four months to receive the money I worked hard for,” she shared.
Alizeh also addressed the troubling attitude of some married male actors, who she claims behave inappropriately towards female colleagues. She didn’t shy away from calling out the industry’s toxic environment, stressing the need for a safe and respectful workplace for all.
Touching upon the criticism she receives online, particularly about her clothing, Alizeh Shah clarified that she has always earned her roles through hard work—not shortcuts. “I’ve never tried to get work the wrong way,” she asserted.
