Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday officially approved a four-day Eid ul Adha holiday.
According to sources, public and private sector employees, students, and bank workers can now look forward to an extended break from Friday, June 6 to Monday, June 9.
The government’s decision to announce a four-day Eid ul Adha holiday aims to allow citizens ample time to celebrate the holy occasion with family and loved ones. The holiday period covers the main days of Eid, giving people a chance to travel, rest, and fully participate in traditional rituals without work-related stress.
During these four days, all government and private offices, educational institutions, and banks will remain closed. This nationwide shutdown is expected to ease the pressure on daily routines, giving everyone space to focus on the spiritual and cultural essence of Eid ul Adha.
