Military top brass vows to crush Indian proxies

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), chaired the 270th Corps Commanders Conference at GHQ, where Pakistan’s top military leadership gathered to assess the country's evolving security landscape.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the conference commenced with prayers for the martyrs of the Khuzdar terror attack, in which four innocent children and two civilians lost their lives in a brutal assault orchestrated by Indian-backed proxies.

In a strongly worded statement, the forum condemned the targeting of unarmed civilians, especially children, terming it a blatant violation of international laws and basic human values. The participants paid rich tribute to the martyrs of “Operation Bunyad-e-Marsous,” describing them as heroes who laid down their lives defending the nation against unprovoked Indian aggression.

The forum reiterated that the blood of martyrs would never go in vain. “Protecting the lives and dignity of Pakistani citizens will always be our top priority,” the COAS affirmed.

The commanders unanimously lauded Field Marshal Asim Munir’s strategic vision, unwavering leadership, and relentless efforts for national defense. The forum congratulated him on being conferred the title of Field Marshal and acknowledged his exceptional contributions to strengthening the armed forces.

A comprehensive review of the internal and external security challenges was conducted, with a special focus on the recent success of “Operation Bunyad-e-Marsous,” a key phase in the ongoing national struggle dubbed “Ma'araka-e-Haq” (Battle for Truth). The forum praised the unmatched professionalism, coordination, and resilience of the armed forces, supported strongly by the unwavering will of the Pakistani nation.

Media professionals and “Information Warriors” also received appreciation for countering fake news, Indian propaganda, and misinformation. Their role in fostering public trust and upholding facts was recognized as a crucial pillar of national unity.

Particular admiration was expressed for Pakistan’s youth, whose patriotism and active participation amplified the national spirit and effectively projected Pakistan’s narrative to the world. The forum acknowledged the guidance of political leadership during recent tensions, commending their foresight and firm resolve.

The forum reiterated its full preparedness to thwart any foreign aggression and declared that no threat—whether through force or pressure—would be allowed to undermine Pakistan’s sovereignty. It also reaffirmed its commitment to use all available resources to crush Indian-sponsored terror proxies operating in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Corps Commanders emphasized that India's continuous use of proxies and false flag operations aims to destabilize Pakistan internally after its failure to achieve success through direct military aggression—such as the recent Pahalgam incident. They denounced India’s dual role of portraying itself as a terror victim while actively engaging in terrorism across the region.

Participants underscored Pakistan's resolve to confront terrorism with full operational readiness and called for complete synergy between armed forces, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies. "Any attempt to create fear or chaos will be crushed with national unity and unmatched strength," the forum stated.

Addressing the regional situation, the forum raised serious concern over human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir and condemned India's aggressive posturing. The commanders urged the global community to intervene and support lasting peace in the region.

The Army Chief commended all ranks for their high morale, exceptional combat readiness, and professional excellence. He attributed recent successes to divine blessings and emphasized the need to remain vigilant amid ongoing security threats.

Field Marshal Munir paid tribute to the unflinching support of the Pakistani people, calling them the true source of national strength. “We are determined to live up to the trust and expectations of our people in this joint struggle against terrorism, extremism, and foreign aggression,” he stated.
