In a bold and resolute message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared that India will now think a hundred times before even considering another attack on Pakistan.
Speaking at a compensation ceremony in Muzaffarabad for the families of those martyred and injured in the recent Indian aggression, the Prime Minister underscored Pakistan’s military strength and unwavering resolve.
Joined by Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam and other dignitaries, the Prime Minister handed out financial assistance—Rs. 10 million to each family of the martyrs and Rs. 1 to 2 million for the injured. He assured that those still awaiting compensation would also receive their due support.
During his address, PM Shehbaz reflected on the recent escalation between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack in Indian-occupied Kashmir. While condemning the incident, he strongly rejected India’s allegations against Pakistan, labeling them as part of a dangerous conspiracy to destabilize regional peace.
“We demanded an international investigation and offered full cooperation,” he said. “But instead of responding responsibly, India chose to launch attacks on innocent civilians in Azad Kashmir and other parts of Pakistan.”
In response, the Prime Minister proudly highlighted Pakistan’s strategic retaliation. “We didn’t target civilians. Our armed forces shot down six Indian fighter jets, including Rafale and MiG-29 aircraft. The Al-Fatah missile reminded India of the strength we carry,” he added.
According to PM Shehbaz, despite Indian arrogance and overconfidence in global backing, the world did not come to its defense. “Soon after our counter-strike, the Army Chief informed me that India was ready for a ceasefire—it had realized the cost of provocation,” he revealed.
He added that this military engagement served as a reckoning moment. “Our three armed forces stood united, and this time, they took the revenge of 1971,” he remarked, drawing a historical parallel that echoed deeply with the audience.
