PM Shehbaz Sharif Hails Pakistan’s Military Response to Indian Aggression

In a blistering late-night address to the country on Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the unparalleled solidarity and bravery of the Pakistani masses and military towards India's latest cross-border misadventure.

Starting off with recitation from the Holy Quran, the prime minister bestowed divine blessings for the nation as well as for Operation Bunyan-um-Marsus in an expression of spiritual and strategical might emanating from the defense of Pakistan.

“My proud and patriotic Pakistanis,” he said, “our nation has once again proved that we are self-reliant and unshakable. Our sovereignty is more precious than our lives, and when challenged, we rise like an iron wall.”

Calling India’s actions “cowardly” and “shameful,” PM Shehbaz said New Delhi used the Pahalgam attack as a flimsy excuse to wage war. Despite Pakistan’s call for a fair investigation and rejection of baseless allegations, India launched missile attacks targeting civilian homes, mosques, and urban areas.

“They even tried to strike our military bases,” the PM revealed. “But we responded in the language they understand best. What was once a diplomatic issue has now reached the battlefield.”

He commended the swift and decisive response of the Pakistan Armed Forces. “Our falcons humbled India’s Rafale jets, and our strikes turned their military targets into ashes. This was not just a retaliation—it was a message: Pakistan stands tall, dignified, and united.”

The prime minister paid glowing tributes to the army, air force, and navy, praising the valor of soldiers who stood fearlessly to defend the nation. “These sons of the soil, blessed by their mothers, were ready to lay down their lives. Their courage is unmatched.”

PM Shehbaz extended special thanks to General Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, and Admiral Naveed Ashraf, calling them the pride of the nation. “This victory is not of the armed forces alone, but of every Pakistani who stood united.”

He also thanked political leaders, especially Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari, for showing unprecedented national unity. Praising the media and digital warriors, he acknowledged their role in countering India’s propaganda and spreading the truth.

In an emotional conclusion, PM Shehbaz said he prayed through the night, in Tahajjud, for Pakistan’s success. “Our prayers were answered. This is a moment of national pride and divine blessing.”
